July 1995 to 2002: Technical Officer 3 (Manager and Programmer): Manager staff of data entry personnel. Provide IT support for Bureau of Meteorology. Program using SQL and PL/SQL to populate, transfer and change the data on an Oracle database; develop Java applications for an Oracle database; perform quality control testing; develop and maintain an HTML web site that updates and displays meteorological data; develop a homepage in HTML for the Data Management Department (internal site); develop ACCESS database for input of meteorological data by field personnel.
July1990 – July 1995, Technical Officer 2: Provide reports of meteorological data to private and public sectors in response to queries to the Climate Consultive Service section. Provide personnel functions as a staff member of the Personnel section.
